PROFESSIONAL

I answer the questions that matter when organizations bet on complex, high-risk technology. With decades of experience across global platforms, regulated industries, and product innovation, I lead rigourous mixed methods research that turns uncertainty into decisive direction for product strategy, design, and investment.

ANSWERLAB (New York, NY), 2025-Present
LEAD UX RESEARCHER

  • Conducted a comparative audit of AI experiences within a multi-phase research initiative for a global financial services brand, a key component of a larger engagement helping the client's design research organization establish a research-backed point of view on AI. Assessed emerging practices across consumer AI experiences in membership and agentic commerce, alongside published AI design systems, and synthesized the findings into a set of AI experience design principles.

  • Conducted Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) research for a Fortune 100 financial services company as one of several concurrent studies, co-moderating thirty in-depth interviews across three strategic customer segments, reporting key insights and generating a structured job map deliverable as the primary input to a follow-on quantitative survey.

  • Built and documented reusable Claude Skills to convert raw interview transcripts into structured job maps for JTBD studies, standardizing outcome statements and saving hours of analysis time per project.

  • Lead researcher on a Fortune 50 retailer's creator platform, delivering an ongoing program of studies spanning program application flow, campaigns and brand collaborations, and customer shopping journeys, most recently leading a study on agency workflows and multi-user access to inform functional design.

AUTOMATION ANYWHERE (San Jose, CA), 2021-2025
LEAD UX RESEARCHER

  • Owned the UX research practice for the A360 enterprise agentic AI and robotic process automation (RPA) platform, setting research strategy across AI governance, agent design and development, and platform operations, and shaping roadmap decisions with product, design, engineering, and sales.

  • Directed evaluative research for AI Agent development via iterative usability tests paired with facilitated workshops with expert automation developers, finding that users adapted to agent configuration, but in test mode were unsure whether the agent had followed its plan or why it made a given decision. Participants asked for execution traces, intermediate outputs, and failure flagging, identifying execution transparency as a precondition for developer trust.

  • Led research informing the company's AI Governance strategy, establishing how users form judgments about trust, risk, and control when building automations on LLMs. Data masking configuration initially tested at 30% user comprehension, prompting revised copy and information architecture; evaluation badges, version metadata, and shared audit logs entered the roadmap; and a hybrid governance model of global defaults with role-scoped overrides was proposed and endorsed by Product.

  • Maintained and added personas: eight enterprise personas grounded in goals, responsibilities, success metrics, jobs to be done (JTBD); heavily referenced as shared vocabulary across AI governance, agent development, process discovery, and platform product development.

  • Established and conducted an A360 usability metrics program: a standing quarterly framework of in-app SEQ, SUS, and NPS instruments deployed via Pendo and segmented by role, license type, edition, and tenure. Hypothesis testing across samples in the thousands showed perceived ease varied significantly by user role while showing little effect from tenure or product edition.

  • Facilitated cross-functional AI experience principles workshops and feature design sprints.

LEAD UX DESIGNER

  • Design lead for AARI, Automation Anywhere's human-in-the-loop interface for business users, since rebranded Co-Pilot for Business Users; owned process setup improvements and various AARI configuration features.

  • Partnered on first-time user experience research; in testing a functional build, found that core navigation labels (Processes, Requests, Tasks) failed to convey the application's purpose and that users could not describe how the three views related to one another. Delivered terminology, information architecture, and onboarding recommendations to the product team.
